DIVERSIDADE E USOS DE PLANTAS NO BAIRRO VILA GOIÁS, TANGARÁ DA SERRA, MT, BRASIL: UMA PESQUISA QUALITATIVA
RESUMO: O objetivo desta pesquisa foi realizar um levantamento etnobotânico no bairro Vila Goiás, no município de Tangará da Serra, MT, identificando as espécies encontradas e sua utilização pela comunidade. O trabalho foi realizado no bairro Vila Goiás, Tangará da Serra, MT, utilizando-se o método qualitativo. Pode-se observar que a maioria dos entrevistados eram mulheres, donas de casa, que não concluíram o ensino fundamental. A maioria das famílias eram compostas por 2 a 6 pessoas, alcançando uma renda familiar de até mais de 5 salários mínimos. Foram identificadas 88 espécies, em 51 famílias, além de 11 espécies não identificadas. A principal utilização foi para consumo, seguida de ornamentação do lar e uso medicinal. Quanto ao uso medicinal, a principal recomendação foi para gripe e mal-estares do estômago. Os moradores do bairro possuem grande variedade de plantas em seus quintais. A maioria dos entrevistados eram pessoas com mais de 50 anos, antigas no bairro, e que mantem o saber da medicina natural.

DIVERSITY AND USES OF PLANTS IN THE VILA GOIAS DISTRICT, TANGARÁ DA SERRA, MT: A QUALITATIVE RESEARCH
ABSTRACT: The objective of this research was to perform an Ethnobotanical survey in the Vila Goias disctrici in the municipality of Tangará da Serra, MT, identifying the species found and your community use. The work was conducted in the Vila Goias district, Tangará da Serra, MT, using qualitative method. It can be observed that the majority of respondents were women, housewives, who have not completed elementary school. Most families were composed of 2 to 6 people, reaching a family income of more than 5 minimum salaries. 88 species were identified in 51 families, in addition to 11 unidentified species. The main use was for consumption, followed by home adornment and medicinal use. As for medicinal use, the main recommendation was for the flu and stomach ailments. Residents of the neighborhood have wide variety of plants in their yards. The majority of respondents were people older than 50 years old in the neighborhood, and keeping the knowledge of natural medicine.
